AceCad is proud to announce the release of StruCad Version 10.2.
StruCad 10.2 offers significant additions and enhancements such as:
Enhanced CAD Interfaces for 2D and 3D
The enhanced interface contains tiered drop down menus, an improved main icon menu, new interactive icon menu and now uses Windows style dialogues throughout, also the top and bottom status bars have been standardized. The Z-axis is now shown in the wireframe environment and new commands such as Edlay, setlay, freeze, thaw, allLon and allLoff have been introduced. In addition, both 2D and 3D default snaps and cad modes can now be saved globally and used as the defaults for all subsequent new models.
Rendered Solids in Load joint
Allows the user to view realistic representation of solids in the joint making it easier for them to detail. A dynamic transparency dialog control now allows the setting of the transparency level for each port. New mouse functions include dynamic rotation, zoom and a pan facility. Shading can now be hidden whilst in the interactive environment by using the F3 hotkey.
Enhanced Drawing Output
A new Edcurve wireframe command now allows the user to modify, add and delete curve member control points giving greater control to the modeling of curved members and the quality of the curve drawing. A new Asssec wireframe and 2D cad command has been introduced that allows users to create user defined cross-sectional views of an assembly.
Enhanced Drawing Explorer
Making viewing and checking drawings easier saving users more valuable time. It includes:
- Drawing preview window with zoom facility
- Integrated DWG and DFX viewer
- Cam file explorer mode
- Cam graphical preview
- Raw cam data display in notepad
- Cam file package/unpackage and email facility
- Option to open the dps pad for post processor log results viewing
- Ability to open explorer on the selected drawing or cam category
- StruNest integration
Enhanced StruWalker
Includes further control over colors used and the exportation and display of both clash symbols and material grades.
Connection Macros
Enhancements have been implemented for Kingspan MetIcon cold rolled. CB, FMEP now have graphical setups and HVYBR heavy bracing and VTBG Vertical Tube Bracing to Ground have been introduced, also with graphical setups.
Cad Macros
New Ladder macro for vertical ladders with safety hoops.
