International Distributor Meeting
The International Distributor Meeting was held on the 9th and 10th December 2003 at the Mickleover Court Hotel in Derby and was attended by AceCad subsidiaries and distributors, collectively covering 67 countries. The purpose of the event was to promote "Strength through Partnership", our new Distributor network strategy which includes expansion plans and further development of the AceCad product suite.
Distributors were given presentations about the software development, marketing, our hardware division and the drawing and design office based at the UK headquarters. Speeches were also given by some of distributors, our Greek Distributor described his successful relationship with AceCad Software and the huge impact the Olympics has had on business and the Dutch distributor demonstrated StruTimber, an innovative product for the timber industry.
Our software development team revealed plans to further integrate StruCad and StruM.I.S in order to increase the productivity gains for our client base. Also unveiled at the meeting were AceCad Hardware’s latest StruCad workstations to be sold worldwide, the workstations are designed to maximize software performance and studies have shown time savings of up to 20% when compared with other machines. Many of our distributors offer a sub-contract drawing and design office, however they were impressed to hear about the scale of projects undertaken by our UK team and were shown case studies identifying competitor software limitations and how StruCad can overcome such problems. Our distributors were also given a presentation on marketing and an accompanying pack of marketing materials in preparation for future marketing campaigns. The event was successful in every way, ideas and plans were exchanged and the new direction for AceCad Software has been implemented.
AceCad International Offices
AceCad Italia
Based in Milan, the Italian office supports an increasing number of major steelwork detailers and fabricators whilst offering localized sales, support and both basic and tailored advanced training.
AceCad Spain
Our US office is based in Exton, PA and offers sales, support, training and development. The development team work in collaboration with the UK to provide software tailored to meet the requirements of the market. The recent launch of StruM.I.S in the US has had a huge impact and already large fabricators such as Blattner Steel have stated they are "very impressed" by the functionality of the software and it’s links to StruCad.
AceCad Southern Africa
This office is located in Cape Town and offers sales, support and training to the Southern African market and has recently introduced StruM.I.S V5.1 to Genrec, one of the largest, most prestigious fabricators in the South Africa who are delighted with the bar code facility in the piece monitoring system. As a result of high market demand in the area we are pleased to announce plans to open a second office in Johannesburg later this year.
AceCad France
AceCad’s newest subsidiary office opened for business on 1st January 2004 and will offer the same facilities and services as our other offices. Located in Bourges in the center of France, the office are ready to lead a campaign throughout France and other French speaking countries, promoting AceCad’s comprehensive suite of software to the market.
AceCad Australia
Our Australian office is based in Wembley, Western Australia and has successfully been serving the Australian market since 1998, providing sales, support, development and training. This office is also meeting the needs of the New Zealand and Papa New Guinea markets.
